14.09.2012: 7th Mini - Herpesvirus Workshop, Heinrich Pette Institute, Hamburg |
Aim:
This informal meeting provides an opportunity for young herpesvirus researchers to present their data to a knowledgeable audience, meet colleagues, and initiate collaborations. Graduate students and postdocs can present their work as short oral presentations, which will be selected from submitted abstracts. Keynote lectures will be given by Beate Sodeik (Hannover) and Klaus Früh (Portland).
When and Where:
The workshop will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the lecture hall of the Heinrich Pette Institute, Martinistr. 52, 20251 Hamburg. For directions see http://www.hpi-hamburg.de/contact/location.html. From the train station take MetroBus 5 to Brunsberg and use the back entrance of the HPI at Süderfeldstr./Lottestr. Registration (mandatory):
To register, please send an email to martina.hintz@hpi.uni-hamburg.de with your name and address. Abstracts should be attached as a Word file and contain title, authors, affiliation(s), and a text of max. 300 words. A registration fee of 15 Euro (includes lunch and coffee breaks) should be transferred to Sebastian Voigt, account no. 0008139938, routing no. 30060601. For international bank transfers use SWIFTBIC: DAAEDEDD, IBAN: DE04 3006 0601 0008 1399 38. Deadline for registration, payment, and abstracts: 19 August 2012. Up to 10 travel subsidies will be available for young scientists. If you would like to apply, please include an informal application with your registration.
