The Institute of Virology and the Institute of Medical Microbiology of the University of Duisburg-Essen, the Institute of Molecular and Medical Virology of the University of Bochum, the Institute of Medical Microbiology and the Institute of Virology of the University of Düsseldorf have initiated a scientific collaboration encompassing virology, bacteriology, immunology and cell biology to study pathogen-host interactions. The research focuses on aspects of immune activation and signal transduction in an infected host and is sponsored by the DFG.
We are seeking candidates with a strong background in virology, bacteriology, immunology, or molecular biology and a fundamental dedication towards biomedical research. Excellent knowledge in English, team spirit and extraordinary motivation are expected. The positions are open from October 2010. The monthly salary is
€ 1 468,00 (tax-free stipend).
